Đoàn CTUMP đã có buổi làm việc với Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (OCTCM) tại phân hiệu Markham và phân hiệu Toronto. Đại diện phía OCTCM đón tiếp và tham dự buổi ký kết là Tiến sĩ Melinda Wu - Phó hiệu trưởng, ông Thạc sĩ Dylan Kirk - Trưởng phòng Đào tạo của Trường, Giám đốc phân hiệu Toronto và ông Jacky Zhang - Chánh Văn phòng / The CTUMP delegation held a working session with the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (OCTCM) at their Markham and Toronto campuses. Representatives from OCTCM who welcomed the delegation and participated in the signing ceremony included Dr. Melinda Wu - Vice Principal, Mr. Master Dylan Kirk - Head of Academic Affairs and Director of the Toronto campus, and Mr. Jacky Zhang - Chief Administrative Officer.

Hai bên đã thảo luận về định hướng hợp tác trong đào tạo Y học cổ truyền, trao đổi giảng viên – sinh viên, chia sẻ học thuật và đồng tổ chức hội thảo chuyên ngành. Và đặc biệt là OCTCM rất quan tâm hoạt động đào tạo liên tục tại Khoa Y học cổ truyền về thủy châm và hợp tác nghiên cứu kết hợp y học hiện đại và y học cổ truyền trên bệnh nhân tại Cần Thơ, cũng như là phát triển nguồn thuốc nam phong phú của Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long trong khi OCTCM chỉ đào tạo và nghiên cứu y học cổ truyền và thuốc từ Trung Quốc / The two sides discussed cooperation directions in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) training, faculty and student exchange, academic sharing, and co-organizing specialized workshops. Notably, OCTCM expressed significant interest in the continuing education activities at the Faculty of Traditional Medicine regarding Acupuncture Hydration and collaborative research combining modern medicine and traditional medicine on patients in Can Tho, as well as developing the abundant resource of Southern Traditional Medicine in the Mekong Delta, given that OCTCM only trains and researches TCM and medicines originating from China.

Không khí buổi làm việc diễn ra cởi mở, hiệu quả; sau đó, hai đơn vị tiến hành ký kết Biên bản ghi nhớ hợp tác (MOU) giữa Khoa Y học Cổ truyền – CTUMP và Ontario College of TCM. Ký kết hợp tác này mở ra những hoạt động hợp tác sắp tới giữa 2 bên. Trong đó, hoạt động đào tạo liên tục về thủy châm và mời giảng online giữa hai bên được ưu tiêu triển kha / The working session proceeded in an open and effective atmosphere; subsequently, the two units proceeded to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperation between the Faculty of Traditional Medicine – CTUMP and Ontario College of TCM. This cooperation signing opens up future collaborative activities between the two sides. Among these, continuing education activities on Acupuncture Hydration and online guest lectures between the two sides are prioritized for implementation.

Đoàn cũng tham quan cơ sở vật chất, phòng thực hành, câu lạc bộ người cao tuổi của cộng đồng người Trung Quốc là cơ sở thực hành của OCTCM. Tại phân hiệu Toronto, đoàn được giới thiệu mô hình phát triển chi nhánh, chương trình đào tạo, định hướng mở rộng quốc tế và cơ hội hợp tác trong tương lai / The delegation also visited the facilities, practice rooms, and the Seniors’ Club of the Chinese community, which serves as a practical training base for OCTCM. At the Toronto campus, the delegation was introduced to the branch development model, training programs, international expansion orientation, and future cooperation opportunities.
