KHOA Y TỔ CHỨC HỘI THẢO CHUYÊN ĐỀ “NÂNG CAO CHẤT LƯỢNG CHĂM SÓC THAI KỲ”

Ngày 05/11/2025, Bộ môn Phụ sản – Khoa Y, Trường Đại học Y Dược Cần Thơ đã tổ chức Hội thảo cấp Khoa với chủ đề “Nâng cao chất lượng chăm sóc thai kỳ”. Hoạt động được triển khai theo kế hoạch công tác của Trường và Khoa Y, nhằm cập nhật kiến thức chuyên môn, tăng cường kỹ năng thực hành lâm sàng và thúc đẩy hợp tác học thuật quốc tế trong lĩnh vực chăm sóc sức khỏe thai phụ. Hội thảo diễn ra theo hình thức trực tiếp tại Hội trường Khoa Dược kết hợp với trực tuyến, thu hút khoảng 100 đại biểu tham dự, bao gồm giảng viên, sinh viên và học viên sau đại học.

Các báo cáo tại hội thảo tập trung vào những chủ đề thiết yếu trong chăm sóc thai kỳ như: sàng lọc rối loạn tăng huyết áp thai kỳ, sàng lọc lệch bội trước sinh, đánh giá sức khỏe thai trong thai kỳ và giảm đau trong chuyển dạ. Những nội dung này mang tính cập nhật, gắn liền với yêu cầu thực tiễn trong quản lý thai phụ và công tác chăm sóc sức khỏe bà mẹ – trẻ em tại khu vực Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long.

Hội thảo được tổ chức dưới sự chỉ đạo của PGS.TS. Lê Văn Minh – Trưởng Khoa Y. Công tác chuẩn bị và điều phối chương trình do tập thể giảng viên Bộ môn Phụ sản phối hợp cùng các ban tổ chức, ban thư ký, tổ chuyên môn và sự hỗ trợ của sinh viên Trường Đại học Y Dược Cần Thơ, góp phần bảo đảm tính chu đáo và hiệu quả của sự kiện

Với nội dung thiết thực và sự đồng hành của các chuyên gia quốc tế, hội thảo đã mang lại nhiều giá trị học thuật, tạo cơ hội trao đổi kinh nghiệm và góp phần nâng cao chất lượng giảng dạy, đào tạo sau đại học cũng như chăm sóc thai kỳ tại các cơ sở y tế trong khu vực.

The Faculty of Medicine Organizes a Thematic Seminar on “Improving the Quality of Antenatal Care”

On November 5, 2025, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP), organized a faculty-level seminar titled “Improving the Quality of Antenatal Care.” The event was conducted under the annual operational plan of the University and the Faculty, aiming to update professional knowledge, strengthen clinical skills, and promote international academic collaboration in maternal healthcare.

The seminar was held in a hybrid format—on-site at the Faculty of Pharmacy Auditorium combined with online participation—attracting approximately 100 attendees, including faculty members, undergraduate students, and postgraduate trainees.

The seminar welcomed the participation of:

Ms. Nancy Decker-Miller – Health Volunteers Overseas (HVO), USA (in-person presentation)
Student presenters from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy
Lecturers and trainees of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine

Presentations at the seminar focused on essential topics in antenatal care, including screening for hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, prenatal aneuploidy screening, fetal health assessment during pregnancy, and labor analgesia. These updated and practical topics address the current needs of maternal health management and contribute to improving maternal–child healthcare in the Mekong Delta region.

The seminar was organized under the direction of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Minh, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. The preparation and coordination were carried out by the lecturers of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in collaboration with the organizing committee, secretariat, technical teams, and with the support of CTUMP students, ensuring the professionalism and effectiveness of the event.

With its practical content and the participation of international experts, the seminar provided valuable academic insights, created opportunities for experience sharing, and contributed to enhancing the quality of teaching, postgraduate training, and antenatal care at healthcare facilities in the region.
