Faculty of Basic Sciences Successfully Organizes University-Level Workshop: “Biomaterials: From Research Hypothesis to Clinical Application”

On November 13, 2025, following Plan No. 2586 dated November 6, 2025 of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy regarding the organization of a university-level workshop, the Faculty of Basic Sciences hosted a workshop titled “Biomaterials: From Research Hypothesis to Clinical Application.” The event provided an opportunity for faculty members, researchers, and students of the University to meet, exchange ideas, and share research results in the field of biomaterials, thereby bridging basic science and clinical medicine.
At the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Lam, Vice Rector of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, emphasized that in the context of rapid scientific and technological development, biomaterials have become a critical link between basic research and practical application, contributing significantly to regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and the development of advanced medical devices. As a leading medical training and research institution in the Mekong Delta region, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy continuously encourages interdisciplinary research activities aimed at producing scientifically valuable products with practical benefits for the community.
