CHƯƠNG TRÌNH TẬP HUẤN NGẮN HẠN: “Cập nhật các kỹ thuật sinh học phân tử phát hiện virus trong phòng thí nghiệm” (English version below)

Từ ngày 02/12 đến 06/12/2025, Trường Đại học Y Dược Cần Thơ đã tổ chức chương trình tập huấn ngắn hạn “Cập nhật các kỹ thuật sinh học phân tử phát hiện virus trong phòng thí nghiệm”. Chương trình thu hút sự tham gia của các giảng viên, nghiên cứu viên, học viên ngành khoa học y sinh, sinh viên các khối ngành sức khỏe và các đồng nghiệp quan tâm từ cả trong và ngoài trường. Chương trình tập huấn nhằm cập nhật kiến thức chuyên môn, tạo diễn đàn trao đổi học thuật và nâng cao kỹ năng thực hành trong lĩnh vực virus học – sinh học phân tử.

Qua 05 ngày tập huấn với sự phân bố hợp lý giữa lý thuyết và thực hành, học viên được đã được tiếp cận tổng quan và thực hành các kỹ thuật quan trọng trong chẩn đoán virus bằng sinh học phân tử dưới sự hướng dẫn tận tình của các thành viên trong Ban giảng huấn.

Trong suốt chương trình tập huấn, học viên đã có cơ hội thảo luận về những vấn đề trọng điểm trong virus học hiện nay, đồng thời bày tỏ quan điểm, đặt câu hỏi với các giảng viên. Từ đó, cùng nhau nâng cao kiến thức chuyên môn, tiếp nhận những góc nhìn mới mẻ hơn, sâu sắc hơn về sinh học phân tử.

Với phương châm “Học phải đi đôi với hành”, phần thực hành chiếm thời lượng lớn của chương trình tập huấn, tất cả người học tiếp cận trực tiếp với mẫu bệnh phẩm, quy trình xử lý và phân tích kết quả, từ đó tăng cường khả năng ứng dụng kỹ thuật trong công tác xét nghiệm và nghiên cứu.

Chương trình tập huấn “Cập nhật các kỹ thuật sinh học phân tử phát hiện virus trong phòng thí nghiệm” đã mang đến một diễn đàn trao đổi chuyên môn thiết thực, cập nhật nhiều kỹ thuật hiện đại và tạo cơ hội giao lưu học thuật giữa các nhà nghiên cứu, giảng viên và sinh viên. Sự kiện góp phần định hướng phát triển nghiên cứu và ứng dụng sinh học phân tử trong lĩnh vực virus học tại Trường Đại học Y Dược Cần Thơ, đặc biệt trong bối cảnh bệnh truyền nhiễm ngày càng phức tạp, đòi hỏi phương pháp chẩn đoán chính xác và kịp thời.

TRAINING COURSE PROGRAM: “Molecular diagnostics of infectious diseases, using the example of intestinal viral infections”

From December 2nd to December 6th, 2025, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy organized a short-term training course program entitled “Molecular diagnostics of infectious diseases, using the example of intestinal viral infections”. The program attracted the participation of lecturers, researchers, postgraduate trainees in biomedical sciences, students in health-related disciplines, as well as colleagues from within and outside the university. The training course aimed to provide updated professional knowledge, create a platform for academic exchange, and enhance practical skills in virology and molecular biology.

Over the course of five days, with a well-balanced distribution between theory and hands-on practice, participants received a comprehensive overview and directly practiced key molecular techniques applied in viral diagnostics under the dedicated guidance of the teaching team.

Assoc. Prof. Itani Tarek, Pharm D, Ph.D – Leading Researcher, Head of Enteric virus infections Laboratory, FRSVI “Virome” Rospotrebnadzor, Russia  – and his colleagues provided systematic instruction from theoretical foundations to practical application for the participants.

With solid expertise, thoughtful guidance, and valuable practical insights, the teaching team created an effective, positive, and practice-oriented learning environment.

Throughout the training course, trainees had the opportunity to discuss key issues in modern virology, raise questions, and exchange opinions with the lecturers. Through this, participants broadened their perspectives and deepened their understanding of molecular biology.

With the principle that “Practice must accompany learning,” practical sessions accounted for the majority of the program. All participants directly worked with clinical specimens, performed processing procedures, and analyzed results, thereby strengthening their ability to apply molecular techniques in diagnostic and research settings.

The training course program “Molecular diagnostics of infectious diseases, using the example of intestinal viral infections” successfully provided a meaningful platform for professional exchange, updating modern techniques and fostering academic networking among researchers, lecturers, and students. The event contributed to guiding the development of molecular biology research and applications in virology at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, especially amidst the increasing complexity of infectious diseases, which demands accurate and timely diagnostic approaches.
