Following, Assoc. Prof. TRAN Viet An – Deputy Head of Undergraduate
Training Office announced the Graduating Decision for 2,269 graduate students. Among
which, there were 1,229 full-time graduate students (624 General Medicine
Doctors, 75 Odonto-Stomatology Doctors, 41 Traditional Medicine Doctors, 67 Preventive Medicine Doctors, 210
Pharmacists, 86 Bachelors of Nursing, 91 Bachelors of Medical Laboratory
Science, and 35 Bachelors of Public
Health). The four-year full-time undergraduate training courses had 673 graduate students (407 General Medicine Doctors, 86
Traditional Medicine Doctors, and 180 Pharmacists). The part-time undergraduate
training courses had 367 graduate students (205 General Nurses, 116 Maternity
Nurses, and 46 Medical Laboratory Technicians).

Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Assoc.Prof. NGUYEN Trung Kien – Party
Committee Secretary and University’s Rector, congratulated new graduates who
have completed their courses after many efforts to study and practice. He said to the new graduates: “We hope that in any position, you will always uphold the will, energy and
faith, constantly strive to become good physicians, good officials, prestigious
leaders in your fields of work.”; and “Hold on to the
pride of being a student of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, so
every single day make yourself a little bit better, for the happiness of
yourself, your family and our community. Every step you take, everything you do
is the appearance of an alumni, the image of the university.”

Representing the new graduates, Odonto-Stomatology Doctor LUU Hai Trung – a new graduate of the 38th undergradute training course, expressed gratitude towards their lecturers
and parents, for taking care of, guiding to make them today: “...what we got is
not just professional knowledge and experience, but also the lessons of humanity, the lessons of professional
ethics to be able to step firmly into life and serve the society. “Hand of a doctor, heart of a mother”, to love and care
for patients like family, and join scientific research with great persistence,
heart and honesty, etc.”
