Attending the cooperation exchange, on the side of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, there was Assoc. Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Van Lam – Vice Rector; PhD. NGUYEN Thanh Tan – Vice Rector; together with heads of the Office of Undergraduate Training; the Office of Postgraduate Training; the Office of Science – Technology & External Relations; the Personnel Office; the Office of Administrative Affairs; the Office of Information and Communications; the Center of Training for Social Demands; the Center of Medical Education and Skills Training, and the Deans of the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy, Odonto-Somatology, and Public Health. On the side of Thu Dau Mot University, there was Assoc.Prof. NGUYEN Van Hiep – President of the School Council; PhD. NGO Hong Diep – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. NGUYEN Thanh Binh – Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy; and representatives of functional departments and faculties.

The cooperation agreement between CTUMP and Thu Dau Mot University aimed to build a sustainable partnership in the future, serving the common interests of research activities and teaching practice, and ensuring the quality of the two countries. The cooperation agreement mentioned the following basic contents: implementation of scientific research programs and topics with the participation of lecturers, scientists, and medical staff of the two sides, in accordance with the provisions of the permitted scope of expertise; Cooperation in the application and transfer of science and technology to improve the quality of training, especially in the field of health science.

Speaking at the exchange of cooperation agreements, Assoc. Prof. NGUYEN Van Hiep – President of the School Council emphasized Quality Assurance activities, smart universities, practicalities in education, external relations, public relations, gathering resources, digitization, Metaverse technology, Blockchain technology, smart management of the 2-level university model (School and Faculty), motivational policies for officials and employees of the University.

Immediately after the cooperation discussion, the delegation of Thu Dau Mot University visited the facilities, contacted, met, and discussed with the faculty and doctors of the University. The members of the delegation were especially impressed by the University's scale, large campus, functional rooms, and faculties with modern infrastructure and equipments.

Previously, the signing ceremony marked an important milestone in the good cooperation between CTUMP and Thu Dau Mot University. The cooperation agreement creates favorable conditions for lecturers, researchers, students, and students to promote research, publish internationally, and have many cooperation and exchange programs with Thu Dau Mot University.
