On January 17th, 2022, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) collaborated with Hong Anh Medical Campus (HAMC), organized an online seminar for cadres and students of CTUMP with interest in studying abroad, in order to introduce the recruitment, training program at the United Kingdom.
The
seminar saw the participation of high profile speakers, including: Mrs.
Juliette Waterhouse, CEO of Real
Capital London; Mr. Vuong Tuan
Anh – representative of HAMC; Prof. Brendon Noble,
Head of School of Life Sciences, University of Westminster, United Kingdom.
The
languages used in the seminars were English and Vietnamese. The speakers
introduced the "Learn, Earn and Return"
program of HAMC, a program for healthcare training in the Information Age, at
the University of Westminster. Additionally, participants learned about the
personal experiences of the speakers, and were answered questions related to
document issues and living conditions while studying overseas.
The seminar
was a success, disseminating necessary information about studying abroad and
working in the United Kingdom to students. It is hoped that these useful knowledge
from the seminar and study experiences from the “Learn, Earn and Return” program would help students actualize their
dreams of studying in another country.
The seminar ended with a survey to the audience to gather
feedback and improve the content of future seminars.
