The Southeast Asia Association for Dental Education (SEAADE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving communication amongst dental schools in Southeast Asia. The Association was created in 1990 at the FDI World Dental Federation’s 78th World Dental Congress in Singapore. Over 80 institutes from Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, China, Singapore, Cambodia, Philippines, Myanmar, Malaysia, Japan, India, and Indonesia are currently members of this association.

In Vietnam, according to the latest update, there are 4 universities that are members of the Southeast Asia Association for Dental Education including Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology – Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy next to Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, The Academy Dentomaxillofacial – Ha Noi Medical University, Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and. The Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology and Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy’s efforts and achievements are recognized by becoming member of SEAADE. Also part of SEAADE are universities that Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy has established cooperation bonds, including Mahidol University (Thailand) and Khon Kaen University (Thailand).
