The workshop was held in the Hall of the Faculty of Nursing

The Rector’s Board of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy and more than 100 cadres and lecturers were present at this event.

To begin the workshop, PhD. PHAN Thi Luyen – Assistant Director of the Services and Training Center for Societal Training – introduced the delegates and declared the purpose of workshop.

Representing the Rector’s Board of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Assoc.Prof. DAM Van Cuong – Vice Rector – announced the start of the workshop.

In the workshop, reporters presented about the position of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy in the Webometrics ranking, and published scientific articles in the international journals of the Scopus/ISI Indexed List. The contents of workshop also mentioned the expected requirements and future plans to bring the Can Tho Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy to qualify for the ASEAN Citation Index, the establishment of an online scientific database, and a website domain belonging to the University.

The delegates gave comments and exchanged professional experiences, regarding the discussions of the issues presented, to further the scientific research accomplishments of all cadres and lecturers of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

At the end of the event, representing the Rector’s Board, Assoc.Prof. NGUYEN Van Lam gave a concluding speech to sum up the discussions. In the near future, the University would advance the efforts in Scientific Research, and strive to improve the position on international university ranking.
