On the afternoon of April 24th, 2024, at the Nursing Hall, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) organized a seminar on "Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam".

On the morning of April 17th, 2024, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. NGUYEN Minh Phuong – Chairwoman of the School Board and Prof. Dr. NGUYEN Trung Kien - Rector) held a working session with the Vietnam University Of Traditional Medicine (represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. PHAM Quoc Binh - Chairman of the School Board).

Within the framework of the UKA – PEN project – The UK – Asia Pharmacy Education Network sponsored by Erasmus Fund, on April 8 and 9, 2024, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy worked with delegates who are lecturers from the UK, including Prof. ASHWORTH Stephen Hugh and Prof. MATTHEWS Susan Elizabeth.

On May 2nd, 2024, at Viet Nam University of Traditional Medicine, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (represented by Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Trung Kien - Rector) together with Viet Nam University of Traditional Medicine signed a Memorandum of Understanding and coordinated to organize a conference with the topic “University administration, publishing international articles and improving the quality of scientific journals”.

On March 13th, 2024, at Hai Duong Medical Technical University, delegations from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (represented by Prof. PhD NGUYEN Trung Kien – Rector) had a conference named “SHARING EXPERIENCE IN UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT UNDER INDEPENDENT MECHANISM”.

Recently, on April 22nd, 2024, at Buon Ma Thuot Medical University, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (represented by Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Trung Kien - Rector), together with Buon Ma Thuot Medical University (represented by Prof.PhD. DANG Tuan Dat - Chairman of the University Council and Prof.PhD. CAO Tien Duc - Rector) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on comprehensive cooperation between the two units.

During the cooperation program, from April 1st, 2024 to April 5th, 2024, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy had a working session with Medical Education Exchange Teams (MEET).

On March 12th, 2024, at Vietnam National Institute of Maritime Medicine – Hai Phong City, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (represented by Assoc. Prof. NGUYEN Minh Phuong – Chairwoman of the University Council and Assoc. Prof. TRAN Viet An – Vice Rector) and Vietnam National Institute of Maritime Medicine (represented by Ms.TRAN Thi Quynh Chi, Head of the Institute) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on comprehensive cooperation between the two units.

At Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy, on March 12th, 2024, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Representing Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy was Assoc. Prof. NGUYEN Minh Phuong – Chairwoman of the University Council, and Prof. NGUYEN Trung Kien - Rector of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy. On behalf of Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the representative was Assoc. Prof. NGUYEN Van Khai, Rector of the University.

On the afternoon of February 23rd, at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Workshop "Overview of EPAs applied in teaching and evaluating medical students" took place. The workshop was organized by the Faculty of Medicine, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy in collaboration with experts form HAIVN, to share an overview of EPAs (Entrustable Professional Activities) and to analyze principles and tools for developing EPAs.
