The topic for this year was “ASEAN youth for
transformative impact: sustained change through volunteering”.
By joining the conference, the Vietnam delegation had a great chance to
exchange and communicate with many other international delegates among ASEAN in
order to gain a great deal of knowledge and experience on how to participate
and organize volunteering activities as well as to propose solutions for
improving volunteering status in Vietnam in particular and of the whole ASEAN
in general. Beside that, our delegates also had a chance to listen to valuable
sharing from distinguished speakers who are outstanding volunteers around
ASEAN, as well as to experience many models of volunteering and community
serving in Bangkok.
As the host of the 4th AUSCU conference next year, the Vietnam delegation
commited to organise the conference with meaningful contents and keep
contributing to strengthen the relationship among ASEAN
countries in specific and the development of the whole ASEAN in general.
