Workshop on research collaboration and scientific article writing skills (july 02nd, 2018)
On July 2nd, 2018, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) and Assoc.Prof. Nghiem Doan (Queensland University, Australia), Prof. Vo Van Toi (International University - Vietnam National Universities at Ho Chi Minh City), Assoc.Prof. Huynh Quyet Thang (Former Director of Can Tho Oncology Hospital) held “Workshop on Research collaboration and scientific article writing skills”. Participants were 68 CTUMP lecturers and Ph.D. students.
In section 1 (Research
collaboration) the experts presented about Sharing experiences
in research collaboration at both national
and international level; identifying possible areas of research collaboration with various
international institutions; tips and recommendations; recognizing conceivable
fields of research cooperation between CTUMP, International University Ho Chi
Minh city and Australian universities; current research trends in Can Tho; sharing
the local experiences (Can Tho & Australia).
In section 2 (Scientific
article writing skills) the experts shared about overview of scientific
article writing skills; tips and trick of how to accomplish a peer reviewed
paper; pitfalls and how to avoid mistakes; successful and productive article
writing.
