The meeting welcomed Miss. JOSEPHINE Leong - Managing Director from West Point Hospital (WPH). On the side of National University Hospital (NUH), the attendees were Prof. QUEK Swee Chye - Chairman Medical Board; Assoc. Prof. PhD. ASIM Shabbir - Head, Department of Surgery; Ms. SHARONA Chang - Head, NUH International; Ms. CLARICE Lim - Head, Operations, Department of Surgery; Ms. CARINE Tan – Manager CEO’s Office.

On the side of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the participants were Dr. LAI Van Nong - Director of CTUMP’s Hospital; Assoc. Prof. PhD. PHAM Van Nang; representatives from Science and Technology – External Relations Office; CTUMP’s Hospital General Planning Department.

The aim of the meeting was to introduce the Scientific presentation on Bariatric Surgery and have a discussion between Assoc. Prof. PhD. ASIM Shabbir and Assoc. Prof. PhD. PHAM Van Nang on areas of collaboration in Bariatric Surgery at CTUMP’s Hospital, from which to share areas of interest in working together on Bariatric Surgery and observership program at NUH, as to consider the cooperation potential among the units.
