Holi Celebrations Bring Together Indian and Vietnamese communities at Can Tho University Medicine And Pharmacy

In March, 12th, Indian students at Can Tho University Medicine And Pharmacy celebrated Holi, the festival of colors, with great enthusiasm and joy. The festival, which is traditionally celebrated in India, brought together the Indian and Vietnamese communities at the university.

Dr. Tran Thi Hong Le – lecturer of Department of Political Sciences and Master Nguyen Van Minh – lecturer of Faculty of Medicine took photos with Indian students 

The celebration was in March 12th, 2023 and took place in the boys' hostel, which is located in 27 Tran Bach Dang Street, An Khanh Ward, Can Tho City, where students and teachers played with colors and water. The celebration has the presence of some teachers in CTUMP who are Dr. Tran Thi Hong Le – lecturer of Department of Political Sciences and Master Nguyen Van Minh – lecturer of Faculty of Medicine. Vietnamese friends and teachers also joined in the festivities, bringing treats for the students. The group clicked numerous photos together, capturing the colorful and festive moments.

Following the playful activities, everyone sat down for a feast together. Indian students prepared their traditional food, which they shared with their Vietnamese friends. The Vietnamese community was delighted to try the Indian cuisine and enjoyed the flavors and spices.

The event was a great opportunity for cultural exchange and brought the Indian and Vietnamese communities together in spirit of friendship and fun. The students expressed their gratitude to the Vietnamese community for participating in the festivities and making the celebration a memorable one.
