CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY COOPERATED TO TRAIN INTERNSHIP STUDENTS FROM CENTRAL QUEENSLAND UNIVERSITY (CQU), AUSTRALIA

From February 6th, 2023 to February 17th, 2023, the Science and Technology - External Relations Office, Department of Diagnostic Imaging of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy welcomed the delegation from Central Queensland University (CQU), Australia, which consisted of two lecturers and 12 international students to practice ultrasound at the Department of Diagnostic Imaging of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital.


Two lecturers and 12 international students from Central Queensland University's delegation were divided into 2 groups, alternately practising at the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital and the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Can Tho General Hospital.

The delegation had a comprehensive grasp of the process in the morning and practically trained in the afternoon on general ultrasound, echocardiography - vascular, obstetric & gynecological ultrasound.

The internship program was successfully conducted, in hopes that the cooperation has facilitated the development of professional knowledge for students which benefits their career path, as well as tightened the spirit of amity between the two countries Vietnam and Australia.
