This project was expected to run for 5 years, organized by the University of Khon Kaen (KKU), Thailand on the topic of “Clinical and Public Health Research Training in Oral Health for Southeast Asia”, and funded by the US National Institutes of Health (NIH/NIDCR/FIC). 

Representing the CTUMP, there were Assoc. Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Van Lam (Vice Rector), Assoc. Prof. PhD. TRUONG Nhut Khue (Head of the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology), PhD. DO Thi Thao (Deputy Head of the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology). 

This project was aimed to develop the human resource for scientific research through a number of short-term courses and postgraduate training for the lecturers of local universities. 

At the moment, this project supported MSc. MD. NGUYEN Hoang Giang, lecturer of the Department of Restorative Dentistry in participating in the virtual course “Craniofacial Oral Health Online (COHO) Summer Institute in Clinical Research Methods” at the University of Washington from May 10^th to July 5^th, 2022, and the two-week course on writing scientific manuscripts in the United States in October, 2022. 

It is hoped that the project would promote cooperation and oral health research in the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology, CTUMP in the next five years.
